Aside from Catalina Island or a boat, the best vantage points are Palos Verdes and Santa Monica. I've received a couple of sightings from Palos Verdes in the last year or so of UFOs exiting the ocean or entering the ocean. I don't have the exact location right now for Santa Monica, but there are some spots in the Santa Monica Mountains that are Native American related. UFOs have been seen near those areas and over the bay.
